Friday - Day

The morning with start mainly dry with a good deal of sunshine over the northern half of the country and cloud increasing further south. In the afternoon, the weather will turn with outbreaks of rain and drizzle will develop across Leinster and Munster where temperatures will range from 11 to 13 degrees. Warmer to the west and north with highs of 14 or 15 degrees. Winds will be moderate to fresh easterly.


Friday - Night

A cloudy night with patchy rain and drizzle. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 6 degrees as light to moderate easterly breezes become northerly by morning.


Saturday - Day

Saturday will be an overcast cloudy day with showers and isolated longer spells of rain. Highest temperatures of 9 or 10 degrees over the northern half of the country and between 13 and 15 degrees further south with light northerly breezes.


Saturday - Night

Mixed night with isolated showers. Cloud cover slowly clearing to leave colder temperatures. Highs of 9 degrees to 5 degrees.


Sunday - Day

Mainly a dry day on Sunday to start with some sunshine and clear spells but afternoon isolated showers will develop. Temperatures on Sunday between 7 and 9 degrees in the north and 10 or 11 degrees in the south.


Sunday - Night

A mainly clear night is forecast with spells of cloud cover. Due to the clear night temperatures are forecast for between 5 and 8 degrees. Coastal areas may have pockets of frost by early morning.
