Aaron Maguire who plays Hurley for Belfast club Bredagh GAC was down in Dublin with his friends celebrating his stag. For fun, they decided to dress him up as his idol TJ Reid when going to the Leinster Championship in Croke Park.

Aaron said: “I woke up that morning and had Kilkenny shorts and socks laid out in front of me at the hotel in Dublin. My friends thought it was hilarious.”


With his Kilkenny kit on, Aaron managed to sneak onto the field and ask TJ Reid if he would like to come to his wedding with fellow Kilkenny teammate Shane Walsh watching along and eventually taking a photo of the two in the matching kit.

So, let’s see if Aaron’s memorable invitation will be accepted.
