Eight in ten indicated they would prefer to make changes to their travel plans than cancel them, and 79% said they were looking for ways to save costs in other areas of their lives so that they could prioritise travel.
According to the report, 85% of Irish consumers have booked or plan to book a vacation for 2023, and nearly a third will take more than two vacations this year.
Eight out of ten respondents stated they intended to go outside of Ireland for their vacations, with Spain being the most preferred foreign location, followed by the UK, Italy, and France.
Galway, Cork, Donegal, and Dublin were the most popular locations in Ireland for individuals looking to stay near to home.
