Following a gruelling contest against the current All Ireland champions Kerry, Dublin GAA great Bernard Brogan Senior believes the Boys in Blue will win the Sam Maguire on Sunday.
During his playing career, the former midfielder, who won three All-Ireland medals and one All-Star, stated the animosity between the two teams is "historical."
The 69-year-old was a member of the Dublin squad that won the All-Ireland in 1976 after defeating Kerry.
He scored an important goal against the Kingdom in the semi-final the following year, in 1977. A few weeks later, when Dublin defeated Armagh in the championship game, he earned another All-Ireland medal.
Bernard Senior said when asked for a prediction, "I think Dublin will win the match, but not by very much, just a few points."
The seasoned player stated he will be attending Croke Park with more than 82,000 other spectators to witness the match. His three sons, Bernard, Alan, and Paul all played for Dublin.
