After winning the All-Ireland Senior Ladies' Football Championship, the Dublin senior women's football team will deliver the Brendan Martin Cup to the captain's hometown.

The squad defeated Kerry in the championship game, 0-18 to 1-10, at Croke Park.

In a social media post, the Dubs expressed their joy at delivering the Brendan Martin cup to the Mansion House at 4 p.m. last night.

They will then head to Clann Mhure in Naul, the home club of captain Carla Rowe, for a reception. This will happen on Monday evening.

The team urged fans to join in the festivities and stated that they “can't wait to welcome Brendan but most importantly the @dublin_lgfa” to the region.

The squad brought the Brendan Martin Cup to visit patients earlier today at Temple Street Children's Hospital.
