Prior to this Saturday's Aer Lingus College Football Classic, in which Notre Dame will play Navy at the Aviva Stadium, the US sports radio programme is in Ireland.
For three days in Dublin, Ferrell will join the radio show, “providing his perspective on news in the world of sports.”
Ferrell, who was dressed in Irish rugby gear for the occasion, declared: “I'm loyal to my Irish heritage. James Joyce lived outside of Ireland for the majority of his life.”
“Like you, I've lived abroad for a sizable portion of my life. But it doesn't lessen my Irish heritage. I'm so devoted to this cause that I'll keep using the left-hand side of the road.”
“Will it be risky? Yes. Is it forbidden? Highly. However, that's simply how dedicated I am.”
Ferrell appeared on the 2015 St. Patrick's Day edition of “The Late Show With David Letterman” dressed as, you guessed it, a leprechaun and performed, you guessed it, "Danny Boy," leaning to the best or worst? Irish American stereotypes.
The Irish-American comedian was said to have purchased opulent residences in Co. Cavan in 2018.
Just last year, Ferrell's tour of Dublin, Cork, and Kerry won over supporters' hearts.
