Six astronauts are on board the International Space Station (ISS), which will be passing above Ireland in the sky until December 5th.

Editor of Astronomy Ireland David Moore stated, “We are urging everyone in Ireland to go out and watch this amazing spectacle. It is an incredible sight to see the International Space Station blazing across Irish skies.”

The International Space Station is between 10 and 100 times brighter than the brightest star in the sky, he continued, "so it is plainly, indeed spectacularly, visible to the naked eye.”

Mr. Moore claimed that the ISS is clearly visible even from the middle of highly lighted cities due to its brightness.

Every day, just before dusk, Astronomy Ireland's social media channels will provide the times to see the International Space Station (ISS).
