All 15 men's Six Nations matches will be shown live and without charge on both networks, allowing sports fans to watch every minute of the action.
Ireland, the current champions and Grand Slam winners, will begin the competition on Friday, February 2, when they travel to Marseille, France. Virgin Media Television will broadcast the match live. The next day, RTÉ will start airing Wales vs. Scotland live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.
Live coverage of England vs. Ireland on Saturday, March 9 and Ireland vs. Wales on Saturday, February 24 will be available on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.
Presenter Jacqui Hurley will be accompanied by a variety of panellists and experts for RTÉ's live games on television, including Jamie Heaslip, Bernard Jackman, Stephen Ferris, Fiona Coghlan, Donal Lenihan, Hannah Tyrrell, and Jerry Flannery.
Additionally, Ireland's match against Italy at home on Sunday, February 11 and their final match against Scotland at home on Saturday, March 16 will be shown on Virgin Media Television.
RTÉ Radio One will broadcast the entire live broadcast of all of Ireland's men's Six Nations matches.
All of RTÉ's Six Nations Rugby matches from all three competitions will be available for free on RTÉ2, RTÉ Radio, and RTÉ Player. Additionally, RTÉ.ie/Sport will have minute-by-minute match coverage in addition to news, analysis, and interviews.
Monday nights on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player, Against The Head returns with the most recent information and conversations, while RTÉ Sport will introduce fans to everything Six Nations related with the RTÉ Rugby Podcast.
