During an episode of his podcast ‘Dishing it out,’ the Ramelton man shared his favourite order from the chip store and informed colleague chef Gareth Mullins about the local speciality.
Gary talked kindly about the little café in his hometown that gave rise to the fame of “the curry tap” on this week's episode.
“You order it that way a single banger, curry ‘tap’,” he said.
Although the name suggests that you receive a “single” sausage, many people who buy this off the menu end up with more than they anticipated.

He made a joke, saying, “So a single sausage isn't a single sausage either.”
It consists of three battered sausages in a small foil box with chips on top and a ladle of chicken curry on top.
He declared, “It's the best order from a chip shop.”
Gary urged listeners to visit “Steve's Café on the hill in Ramelton” and tried the popular Ramelton dish.
Food lovers have hailed Gary and Gareth's new weekly podcast as a “must-listen,” promising to deliver a feast of culinary knowledge, solve kitchen puzzles, and wow your ears with tantalising stories.
