All proceeds from the game, which will place in Dalymount Park on May 15th, will go towards supporting humanitarian causes and Palestine's travel expenses.

Additionally, the club has committed to going to a friendly in Palestine whenever it is feasible.

Daniel Lambert, the Chief Operations Officer at Bohemians, reports that months of planning have gone into the fixture.

"Since November, we have been in communication with the Palestinian FA and the Palestinian envoy in Dublin to try to set up a match.

"We expressed our eagerness to welcome the Palestinian team to Dalymount and inquired about possible dates. We finally decided on a day, and since we were eager to have a women's game and they were too, we reached a consensus yesterday.

"A portion of the money will go towards covering the team's travel expenses. All proceeds after that will go towards humanitarian initiatives. Sport for Life Palestine, a longstanding partner of the club with whom we are closely collaborating, will undoubtedly be present.

"The kids who use their services confront a lot of obstacles, which is why we started working with them in January of last year. They are dealing with much more difficulties now than they were a year ago."
