All Aldi stores will open at 8 a.m. on Monday through Saturday and shut at 10 p.m. starting on March 25.

On Sundays and bank holidays, the hours are still 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. It is recommended that customers check their local stores for any updates to the hours of operation.

“We are excited to announce our extended opening hours,” stated Aldi Ireland's managing director of operations, Donald Mackay. “They'll make sure our patrons have even more time to peruse the extensive selection of products offered in-store.”

“Since we are aware of how busy our clients are, we strive to make shopping at Aldi as easy as possible. We're still as dedicated as ever to giving our clients greater flexibility and premium items at exceptional pricing.”

With a network of 161 stores throughout the Republic, Aldi presently employs 4,650 people and has a presence in every county.

Additionally, Aldi intends to grow its shop network in Dublin, investing €73 million in 11 new locations and adding 350 full-time jobs over a five-year period.
