Between September 2023 and March 2024, 40 sold-out dates saw the events presented to an audience of nearly 700,000 people.

The cutting-edge audio and graphics, together with the live music performance and venue's technological features, went viral on social media very fast.

Larry Mullen Jr., the drummer for U2, was spotted in the crowd on Friday night of the last weekend. He later posted on the band's social media, saying, "What an amazing night at Sphere." I am incredibly appreciative of Bono, Edge, Adam, and Bram for their incredible work; it was a very moving evening for me personally.

On the Saturday night of the closing weekend, Tick Segerblom, a commissioner for Clark County, gave a pre-show presentation of the "Key to the Las Vegas Strip" to Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Bram Van Den Berg, who was filling in for Larry Mullen Jr. on the drums.

One of the band's most elaborate productions to date, "U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere" had them reuniting with longstanding creative partner and show director Willie Williams, along with musicians including Marco Brambilla, John Gerrard, and Es Devlin.
