Tonight’s match will be O’Shea’s third match in charge of the national team as the Waterford man took over from Stephen Kenny, who departed in November.

Under O'Shea, Ireland have failed to win in their two games against Belgium and Switzerland respectively. It is unclear whether this will be O’Shea’s last match as interim boss at the Aviva, as his side will take on Portugal on June 11th in Aveiro.

Hungary will prove to be a tricky test for the Boys in Green as they look to prepare for Euro 2024.

Kick-off for tonight’s match is at 7:45pm.
