The Northern Irishman won the Supertwins race on Wednesday, his 27th race overall to beat the record established by his uncle Joey Dunlop, who held the record for 24 years.
After winning the Supersport race on Saturday, the 35-year-old Paton rider had already matched that record. He almost beat it in the Superbike race on Sunday, but a malfunction with his helmet visor prevented him from doing so.
For almost 15 years, Dunlop has participated in the difficult and frequently dangerous TT races, competing under the flags of six different teams.

He commanded the whole 37.73-mile mountain circuit that draws tens of thousands of fans annually, outpacing the next best rider, Peter Hickman, by 20.4 seconds.
The motorcyclist from Ballymoney won his fourth Supertwins after triumphs in 2023, 2019, and 2018. “Everyone's inspiration was to be a Joey Dunlop around the Isle of Man,” according to Dunlop. “I’ve never been any better than Joey,” he said.
“It's an honour that Joey's record remained intact for 24 years. Joey possessed unique skill. I don't care if my record is broken one day.”
