The former Manchester United player, recently left Middlesbrough after six years at the Riverside and has in fact joined MLS side San Diego FC on a three-year deal.
McNair, who has been capped 69 times for his country, will play for West Brom until December before heading to the United States for the new MLS season – where he will face the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and many other stars that made the move to the states.
We're delighted to announce the signing of Paddy McNair on loan! 🤝

Welcome to the Albion, Paddy! 👊
Speaking about joining West Brom, McNair said: “West Bromwich Albion is a very good club and one I’ve always admired, I know a lot of lads who have played here in the past and they’ve all said good things about it.
I’m really happy to be here. I’ve played in the Championship for the last seven years so I’ve got a lot of experience in this division.”
Hello reader, I'm Ben. I love to write and talk about sports and I am, unfortunately, hopeless at golf. Thanks for reading!
