After 1,930 consumers engaged in a public consultation held in May and June in collaboration with the National Transport Authority, the schedule was officially established. The updated version will go into effect on August 26.

In order to give clients the opportunity to transfer with the Luas Green line, all services on the Sligo/Dublin Connolly route will now terminate at Broombridge. Along with later last departures to and from both cities, there will also be extra Intercity train services to and from Waterford and Galway.

Numerous DART, Northern Commuter, and Maynooth Commuter services will have altered departure schedules. Rather than operating to and from Grand Canal Dock, certain Phoenix Park Tunnel services (Grand Canal Dock to Hazelhatch/Newbridge) will instead start and end at Connolly Station.
