"Well, there were a few hiccups with the loyalty tickets, but you wanted to be there and you persevered!" read an official statement.

"Ticketmaster fixed the glitches, and the first-time buyer and loyalty tickets ran out, so the fortunate ones got them and we're sold out!

"We are looking forward to putting on the best festival in Ireland for you again next year!"

Tickets for the festival's weekend camping ranged from €225 to €295; in addition, visitors may choose to purchase early entrance permits, which allowed them to enter the site on Thursday.

The dates of Electric Picnic's return are August 29–31, 2025.
