Friday, December 29th, will be the busiest day after Christmas as thousands of revellers fly abroad to celebrate New Year's Eve and as many others return from their seasonal vacations in Ireland.
Up to 100,000 people are expected to use the airport today, according to Graeme McQueen, the public relations manager at DAA.
"We are excited for what is going to be a busy three days before Christmas," Mr. McQueen said on Newstalk. Approximately 100,000 passengers will transit through [Dublin Airport] today, with 50,000 arriving and the same departing.
"Have a great time in the terminals. Many families are reuniting for the first time, often in years, as we've witnessed this week, and it makes for some fantastic scenes.
