Group A:
Germany 5-1 Scotland
Germany hammered a poor Scotland side in the opening game of the tournament. Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala stole the show with an exceptional start. Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala, Kai Havertz, Niclas Fullkrug and Emre Can were on the scoresheet for the Germans.
Hungary 1-3 Switzerland
Switzerland were victorious over Hungary in Group A's other match. The win leaves Switzerland in a good position as they could wrap up qualification to the Round of 16, if they beat Scotland in their next match.
Group B:
Spain 3-0 Croatia
Spain pulled off one of the performances of the tournament so far – with an excellent win over Croatia in Group B. Croatia have a mountain to climb if they are to qualify out of the group.
Italy 2-1 Albania
Italy managed to survive an early scare from Albania as Alessandro Bastoni and Nicolo Barrela overturned an early Nedim Bajrami goal.
Group C:
Slovenia 1-1 Denmark
An early Christian Eriksen goal wasn’t enough for the Danes to get three points against Slovenia.
Serbia 0-1 England
Jude Bellingham scored an outstanding header as England beat Serbia 0-1 in Gelsenkirchen.
Group D:
Poland 1-2 Netherlands
The Netherlands managed to beat a tricky Poland side, thanks to goals from Cody Gakpo and Wout Weghorst.
