Ireland will receive €160 million from the major capital investment program, which will result in the creation of 300 jobs in Ireland.

According to the company, the investment will improve the company's current processing capabilities, increase its total handling capacity, strengthen its position in the circular economy, and greatly increase its potential to recycle more waste products.

Founded in County Meath more than 30 years ago, Beauparc now employs around 3,000 people in 70 sites throughout the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands.

Approximately 500 new employment will be created within the group as a result of the proposed investment program.

"Beauparc is a circular economy business, and this major investment programme will help us to further reduce disposal, recycle even more materials across our operations, and help position Ireland in the top tier of recycling nations," Brian McCabe, chief executive of Beauparc, said.

"This is the largest investment programme in Beauparc’s history and will enable the group to maximise the amount of material than can be recycled in areas such as plastic waste, construction waste, wood products and organic waste," added McCabe.

Delivering improved plastics recycling capabilities in Ireland will be a major focus of the investment program.

In the Irish market, Beauparc stated that it also intends to invest in improved processing facilities for metal, wood, biological, and medical wastes as well as new facilities for processing municipal solid waste, construction waste, and demolition trash.
