Glasgow will be served by flights from Cork on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. An ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft with 72 seats will be used by Aer Lingus Regional to run the service.

Aer Lingus Regional has expanded capacity on its Cork to Bristol service by adding three additional weekly flights in addition to the new Glasgow route.

The new routes announced today, according to Ian Lough, Emerald Airlines' Head of Commercial, give consumers even more alternatives and demonstrate the airline's commitment to offering more convenient travel options throughout its whole network.

Glasgow is a welcome addition to the airport's UK Provincial network and enhances its current Edinburgh service, said to Tara Finn, Head of Aviation Business Development & Communications at Cork Airport.
