The latest Sunday Independent/Ireland Thinks opinion poll shows Fine Gael’s support holding steady at 26 percent. Taoiseach and Fine Gael leader Simon Harris also maintains his position as the political leader with the highest approval rating.

Harris has 53 percent approval as party leader, followed by Fianna Fáil’s Micheál Martin at 48 percent, and Sinn Féin’s Mary Lou McDonald at 33 percent.

In party standings, Fianna Fáil’s support has risen slightly by one point to 20 percent, while Sinn Féin’s decline continues, slipping one point to 18 percent. Labour has dropped one point to 4 percent, and Aontú also fell by one point to 3 percent.

The Greens (4 percent), Social Democrats (6 percent), People Before Profit (3 percent), and Independents/Others (16 percent) remain steady.

The poll surveyed 1,832 people between November 1st and 2nd.
