Met Éireann has issued the first of these for Cork and Waterford, warning of the heavy showers and localised thunderstorms, with the potential for spot flooding and lightning-related damage. This warning is in effect from 10pm tonight, June 11, to 3am tomorrow.

A second warning covers all of Leinster, beginning at midnight and lasting until 2pm tomorrow. Forecasters are predicting heavy showers and scattered thunderstorms across the region, with the risk of localised flooding, lightning strikes, poor visibility and challenging travel conditions.

Meanwhile, the UK Met Office has also issued a Status Yellow thunderstorm warning for Northern Ireland, effective from 6am to 9pm tomorrow. The warnings indicate that heavy rain and thunderstorms will move northward, potentially causing disruption in parts of Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Down, Fermanagh, and Tyrone.
