The annual average weekly sales at the 280 million euro Centre Parcs resort was €1.68 million, while pre-tax earnings more than quadrupled to €19.8 million.

Based on the updated financial records submitted by Centre Parcs Ireland Ltd, the Co. Longford resort saw a 144% increase in pre-tax earnings for the year that ended on April 20th of this year, while sales increased by 51%, or €29.6 million, to €87.4 million.

The €87.4 million in sales also translates into an average daily income of €239,453 over the course of a year. As occupancy rates rose to 97.9% from 73.2% in the previous financial period, the resort generated record revenues.

The average daily lodge rent realised was €281.28 according to the directors' report, up from €254.74 the year before. Earnings Before Interest, Depreciation, Taxes, and Amortisation (EBIDTA) for the company rose to €34.8 million last year, up 62%.

After paying €2 million in corporate tax, the firm reported a post-tax profit of €17.8 million.

The company distributed €13.8 million in dividends last year.
