The nation of Ireland will vote for members (Members of the European Parliament) to represent the country in the European Parliament.

After the election, Ireland will have 14 MEPs – four from the constituency of Dublin, five from the South, and five from the Midlands, North-West.

The people of Ireland will also vote in the local elections, determining who will be elected as a Councillor to represent them in local authorities. There are 31 local authorities in Ireland.
