Liam Scales and Jake O’Brien came on at half time for Ireland, replacing Matt Doherty and Shane Duffy. The game continued to teeter with Liverpool’s Dominic Szoboszlai showing his qualities – dominating the midfield areas.
Troy Parrott, Callum O’Dowda, Michael Obafemi and Jason Knight came on for Ireland in the second half – which lifted the energy around the Aviva Stadium.
