The apparel business runs a concession in the House of Fraser department store in the Square in addition to a freestanding location on the lower ground level of the shopping complex.

The business that operates under the name Ted Baker, No Ordinary Designer Label (NODL), closed 15 stores in March and went into administration.

There will be the loss of another significant high street name as it has been revealed that its last 31 outlets in the UK and Europe will close.

The clothing brand is giving internet customers 80% off of their purchases. The rental agent at Victoria Square, Lambert Smith Hampton, claimed not to have been informed of the decision to close Ted Baker.

Weeks after H&M closed due to relocation, it was revealed last week that Tessuti, a fashion company, and Craghoppers, an outdoor apparel business, would be shutting their outlets at the retail mall.

Should the stores collapse, another well-known fashion name would go from the high street. In recent years, Cath Kidston, Topshop, Warehouse, and Karen Millen have all closed.
