On Sunday morning, at 7 a.m., the Regal Princess liner landed in the city and departed the harbour at 8 p.m.
The 5,600-person ship is scheduled to dock at Clydeport, Scotland, before continuing on to France and then back to England.
With a variety of cruise buses transporting guests from the waterfront into the city centre, travellers were given a full day to experience Belfast.
With eight scheduled visits, the ship is among the most frequent visitors to Belfast in 2024.
In 2022, Princess Regal rose to fame as the backdrop for the American and Australian iterations of the reality television series The Real Love Boat, which aired on CBS and Network 10.
There are 751 staff staterooms and 1,780 guest cabins on the ship.
It is the second ship that Princess Cruises has put into service with the Regal Princess moniker. Over the previous ten years, her sister ship Royal Princess has made several globe voyages since making her debut in 2014.
