The express pick-up and drop-off zone was introduced in 2023 as part of a wider revamp of the airport’s parking facilities. At the time, Mark Beatte, then the airport’s director of operations, explained that the redesign aimed to expand and improve driver options while enhancing pedestrian access.
With the new fee in place, Belfast City Airport hopes to continue improving the experience for all travellers and ensure the smooth operation of its parking areas amid growing demand.
