To see the projects through to completion, Fáilte Ireland and Údarás na Gaeltachta will collaborate with the comharchumann, or community cooperatives, on Inis Mór and Cléire.

As part of a plan to boost local economies and promote Gaeltacht tourism, it is being done.

A new tourist facility on Inis Mór will be developed with a total budget of €3 million.

The development known as Árainn Place of Stone will be situated in the old Aran Islands Heritage Centre in Cill Rónáin.

The "immersive attraction" is supposed to honour the island's language and cultural legacy.

As part of the initiative to lengthen the island's tourism season, it will have year-round operations, a communal area, restrooms, and a cafe.

One million euros will be given to Co Cork to enhance the Cape Clear Fastnet Experience and Heritage Centre.

The money will be utilised to develop a brand-new, cutting-edge visitor attraction that will revolve around the Fastnet Lighthouse and offer augmented reality and three-dimensional experiences.

There will also be upgrades to the current museum.

The investment is a component of a formal agreement between the two organisations to promote Gaeltacht regions and their local economies through tourist development.

Over the next ten years, Fáilte Ireland estimates that extending tourist stays and promoting travel outside of the summer may bring in about €50 million in revenue.

According to Údarás na Gaeltachta, the efforts demonstrate how tourism growth and community needs may be managed to preserve the Gaeltacht islands lively and prospering for years to come.
