In 2024, has announced three Dublin concerts at Phoenix Park in June 2025. Tickets for two dates sold out on Thursday morning. The performances are scheduled for Friday, June 20th, Saturday, June 21st, and Sunday, June 22nd.

But who is Zach Bryan, the rising artist you might not yet know?

Born in Japan and raised in Oklahoma, Bryan began writing songs at 14.

He has one sister and enlisted in the U.S. Navy at 17, serving as an active-duty member for seven years before leaving in 2021 at age 25.

Bryan’s music journey began humbly in 2017 when he uploaded performances to YouTube, recorded on his iPhone by friends. His first upload, God Speed, later became a track on his debut album.

His breakout came in May 2022 with the release of American Heartbreak, a triple album. That same year, his hit single Something in the Orange cemented his place in mainstream music, becoming one of his most recognizable tracks.

While balancing a busy touring schedule, Bryan earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2023. By July 2024, he had released his fifth studio album, The Great American Bar Scene. Songs from the album, such as This World’s a Giant and High Road, achieved chart success in Ireland, peaking at numbers 32 and 29, respectively.

Bryan has collaborated with major artists, including Bruce Springsteen, Bon Iver, Noah Kahan, Maggie Rogers, and The Lumineers. In 2023, he became the first country artist named Billboard’s Top New Artist, alongside winning three additional Billboard Music Awards.

His 2024 album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and topped several genre-specific charts, including Country, Rock, and Americana/Folk Albums.

Bryan’s upcoming concerts will be held in Phoenix Park, Europe’s largest city park, spanning 1,752 acres—twice the size of Central Park in New York City. The park has hosted major acts, including Ed Sheeran, Robbie Williams, Snow Patrol, and The Killers. Its last concert was in 2018 during Sheeran’s Divide tour.

Bryan’s previous Irish performances were in April 2023 at The Helix, a much smaller venue with a capacity of just under 2,000. In contrast, Phoenix Park has hosted some of Ireland’s largest concerts, such as Robbie Williams’ 2003 show, which set a record with 135,000 attendees.

Following his Dublin dates, Bryan will headline two BST Hyde Park concerts in London on June 28th and 29th, 2025.

Known for his once-in-a-generation voice, Bryan blends folk, country, and alternative genres, creating emotionally resonant songs that have garnered a passionate global following. Currently on his Quittin Time 2024 Tour, his largest headline tour to date, Bryan is performing in stadiums and major arenas across North America.

As part of the announcement for his Irish shows, Bryan included a nod to Irish culture, incorporating lyrics from the traditional sea shanty Drunken Sailor into the artwork, a song popularized by The Irish Rovers in 1994.
