The long-closed QuickPark facility, located in Santry, will reopen on March 10th, marking its return to service after lying dormant for the past five years.
The car park will now be operated by APCOA, a leading parking management company, under its new brand, ‘Park2Travel.’ The website is already live, allowing customers to pre-book their parking spaces well in advance of their travel plans.
To ensure seamless access to the airport, shuttle buses will run regularly between the car park and Dublin Airport’s terminals. This added convenience comes at a crucial time, as the airport’s existing parking facilities frequently reach full capacity, especially during peak travel periods.
Neil Cunningham, Managing Director of APCOA Ireland, expressed his enthusiasm about the project:
“We are delighted to have been appointed to manage this valuable asset.
The reopening of this site will significantly increase the supply of parking spaces to meet the growing demand at Dublin Airport. Our goal is to provide customers with a reliable, efficient, and convenient parking experience.”
The reopening of this facility is expected to bring much-needed relief to travellers while contributing to the overall efficiency of Dublin Airport’s operations.
