Organisers are optimistic that the games will still take place at their current locations. Cuala vs. Coolera/Strandhill and Errigal Ciaran vs. Dr.

Crokes, the two final-four matches that were initially scheduled for last weekend, were both postponed due to snowy conditions after pitch inspections.

The meeting between Cuala and Coolera/Strandhill is now scheduled to take place at Kingspan Breffni Park in Cavan on Saturday at 5 p.m.

After the ground at Laois Hire O'Moore Park was determined to be unusable, the Dr Crokes vs. Errigal Ciaran game was rescheduled to Cedral St Conleth's Park in Newbridge.

Feargal McGill, the GAA's director of player welfare and games administration, told the Irish Examiner on Wednesday that the organisation "can't rule anything in or out" and that a backup plan was in place.

However, a spokesperson told RTÉ Sport this morning that the GAA is certain the games will proceed as scheduled. Croke Park stewards have been informed that a final decision regarding the final location of the matches will be made on Friday, with a decision expected to be made this weekend.

Only the lower Hogan Stand would be open if the games were transferred to GAA headquarters.
